The Three Musketeers was a fast paced show full of court intrigue and fencing duels. The director wanted a set the actors could play off and interact with like it was a jungle gym. I helped facilitate the staged "play" on the set by creating torches the actors could rip off the wall to fight with, as well as crash bags, battering ram carts, and crowded hiding places.
